“Dark, unsettling and sexy”
What is the single all about?
Following the debut album ‘These blue dreams’ was going to be difficult for Hush & Rust: choosing new songs, beginning to write original material and not wanting to repeat themselves creatively were all factors.
While technically a ‘cover’ song (the original was released by brilliantfish in 2014 on his ‘everybody’s fine’ album), the new single ‘Poison’ is in the Hush & Rust wheelhouse, while inhabiting a much darker corner.
Featuring a haunting vocal by sweet T and the stellar guitar work of Cam MacInnes, ‘Poison’ is a taste of things to come from Hush & Rust…
