Our new single has FINALLY hit the stores! ‘Gasoline’ is a cover of the song by Houndmouth from their ‘Little NeonLimelight’ album (2015).
While not a ‘classic’ song, it feels like a classic. The original has a dark melancholy couched in a traditional type folk song. We didn’t want to mess with the approach too much, but wanted to give it a ‘live-off-the-floor’ sound. sweet T‘s vocal brings a tragically sweet feel to the track and Cam MacInnes‘ beautiful National guitar compliments it perfectly.
